The New York Yankees are signing outfielder Randal Grichuk to a minor league deal, multiple outlets reported on Thursday.

The reported deal includes an invitation to major league spring training and is worth $2.5 million if he makes the team.

Grichuk, 34, split 2025 with Arizona and Kansas City and batted .228 with nine homers and 27 RBIs in 113 games.

He is a career .251 hitter with 212 homers and 629 RBIs in 1,360 games over 12 seasons with the St. Louis Cardinals (2014-17), Toronto Blue Jays (2018-21), Colorado Rockies (2022-23), Los Angeles Angels (2023), Diamondbacks (2024-25) and Royals (2025).

The Yankees have been looking for a right-handed bat to add to their bench and Grichuk has an .819 career OPS and a .500 slugging percentage against left-handed pitchers.
