Robin Lopez Has Some Mysterious Beef With The Raptors' Mascot
Willamette Week has a pretty great interview with Blazers center Robin Lopez, one of the smarter and funnier guys in the league. It's well worth your time, but I want to draw your attention to one cryptic exchange:
Which is the NBA's most annoying mascot?
The Toronto Raptor. I wish we could go back to Toronto, because he gets my goat. I have a few choice words for that guy.
Can you elaborate on that?
No. He knows.
"He knows." What the heck happened here? This sounds personal. Are we sure the Raptor's season ending injury was an accident?
