Rory McIlroy Calls "Scoreboard" In Petty Twitter Exchange

That’s former PGA champion and occasional Champion’s Tour participant Steve Elkington subtweeting Rory McIlroy with I guess what passes for a burn in the staid, wet-bread world of professional golfing—McIlroy had just gotten bounced from the U.S. Open, and Elkington is chalking it up to effort.
McIlroy was having none of it:
Doing the Golf Twitter version of pointing at the scoreboard and/or making it rain evidently rubbed Elkington the wrong way:
One thing you can’t do when trading barbs on social media is fuck up the spelling. That’s easy money, and Rory is, after all, a money guy:
