Royals acquire INF/OF Nick Gordon from Orioles

Gordon, who signed a minor league deal with the Orioles in the offseason, was 4-for-13 in four games at Triple-A Norfolk.
The 29-year-old Gordon has played in the major leagues in each of the four previous seasons, batting .244 with 23 home runs and 112 RBIs in 338 games for the Minnesota Twins (2021-23) and Miami Marlins (2024).
Gordon, the son of former reliever Tom Gordon and half-brother of former infielder Dee Strange-Gordon, was the No. 5 overall draft pick by the Twins in 2014.
