San Diego, coach Cindy Fisher to part ways after 20 seasons

San Diego Vs Asu Cindy Fisher will not return next season as women's basketball coach at the University of San Diego.
Fisher has held the job since the 2005-06 season, leading the Toreros to nine postseason appearances. Three times, she was named West Coast Conference Coach of the Year and has an overall record of 345-267.
She will leave the Toreros (6-21, 2-16 WCC) at the end of the season. The team has just two games left -- Thursday against Loyola Marymount and March 1 at San Francisco.
"After 20 incredible years, my time leading the Women's Basketball program at the University of San Diego is coming to a close as the athletic department moves in a new direction," Fisher said in a statement, adding it "has been the honor of a lifetime and I know the future is bright for the Toreros."
