San Diego Vs Asu Cindy Fisher will not return next season as women's basketball coach at the University of San Diego.
Fisher has held the job since the 2005-06 season, leading the Toreros to nine postseason appearances. Three times, she was named West Coast Conference Coach of the Year and has an overall record of 345-267.
She will leave the Toreros (6-21, 2-16 WCC) at the end of the season. The team has just two games left -- Thursday against Loyola Marymount and March 1 at San Francisco.
"After 20 incredible years, my time leading the Women's Basketball program at the University of San Diego is coming to a close as the athletic department moves in a new direction," Fisher said in a statement, adding it "has been the honor of a lifetime and I know the future is bright for the Toreros."
