The Toronto Sceptres placed alternate captain Allie Munroe on long-term injured reserve Saturday.

The 28-year-old defender sustained a lower-body injury in a 4-3 overtime loss to the Ottawa Charge on Dec. 23.

Munroe, who has two assists in seven games this season, will be out of the lineup indefinitely, per the team.

In a corresponding transaction, Toronto signed rookie defender Hanna Baskin to a standard player agreement.
