SEC Network Screwup Replaces UT-Vandy Kickoff With Dick Stockton
Fans who tuned into ESPN's SEC Network for the kickoff of Tennessee-Vanderbilt today were instead greeted by an eerily silent Dick Stockton, who is calling a different game on an entirely different network.
How Stockton (covering the Kansas-KSU game on Fox Sports 1) ended up on SEC Network is a mystery, though satellites and transponders and usually to blame; worse, though, SEC fans missed the opening kickoff and the first play of the game due to the screwup.
SEC Net's issues continued later, as somehow this Kentucky logo replaced the game broadcast for 30 seconds:
Get it together, guys! We don't want to miss the Finebaum show later today.
