Sergio Garcia Didn't Need That Club Anyway
Spanish golfer Sergio Garcia responded to a lousy start at the Thailand Golf Championship today by chucking his 4-iron into a pond near the par 3 eighth hole during the tournament's opening round.
Garcia finished with a four-over-par 76 that left him tied for 100th and 16 strokes behind round leader Lee Westwood. In second place? Deadspin's favorite golfer Mr. John Daly.
