Settin' The One O'Clock NFL Table

Minnesota at Green Bay, FOX Last week, rookie sensation Adrian Peterson broke the single-game rushing record, picking up 296 yards and three touchdowns against the Bolts. So what can he possibly do for an encore? Well, personally I'm hoping to hear a "City Is Mine" or maybe an "Incarcerated Scarfaces" ... but I guess another 200-yard game would be cool too.

Atlanta at Carolina, FOX The Falcons have yet to win a road game, and the Panthers are winless in front of the home folks. This game is definitely going to end in a tie, Suss.

Denver at Kansas City, CBS The Broncos are next to last in point differential this season (minus-101), just in front of St. Louis (minus-120). Yet, the Broncos are a game out of first place in the AFC West, while St. Louis is 0-8. This sounds a lot like my fantasy football team's luck. (Seriously. I'm, like, 3rd in total points scored, but my record is 3-6.)

Buffalo at Miami, CBS My Bills are suddenly making noise — winning four of their last five — and now they catch the pathetic Dolphins coming off a bye week. Yep. We'll lose this game.

St. Louis at New Orleans, FOX I don't like New Orleans playing football games at one o'clock. It's unsettling.

Cleveland at Pittsburgh, CBS The Browns (5-3) need a win to keep pace with the first-place Steelers (6-2), who look to stay undefeated at Heinz this season. Is this the game of the day? It is if I'm eating a grilled-cheese sandwich that someone else made for me while watching it. Sure.

Jacksonville at Tennessee, CBS In the 2007 season opener, Titans RB Chris Brown rushed for 175 yards as Tennessee won 13-10 in Jacksonville. Fortunately for the Jags, Chris Brown quit football to focus his attention on taking the R&B world by storm. LenDale White now anchors the TT running game.

Philadelphia at Washington, FOX Come watch the pride of Wallaceburg, Ontario, Shaun Suisham, kick five or six footballs through the uprights!
