Soccer Player Has Heart Attack During Match
Miguel Garcia, a midfielder for Segunda Divsion side Salamanca, is recovering in hospital today after suffering a suspected heart attack during a match against Real Betis on Sunday.
Doctors spent over five minutes attempting to resuscitate Garcia on the pitch when the 31-year-old collapsed an hour into the game.
Mercifully, after undergoing tests at Salmanca University Hospital his status last night was reported to be "favourable."
