Steph Curry Goes Bananas, Drops 40 Points On The Heat
Steph Curry against-the-world games are the most fun you can have watching basketball. Whether it is 54 points against the Knicks in Madison Square Garden, whomping the Denver Nuggets in the playoffs, or some random January game, nothing is better than watching Curry fire on all cylinders. His array of tricky dribbling, jaw-dropping passes, and sheer variety of makes is matched by none.
Though Curry has been impressive in leading the Warriors to a 10-2 record, tonight was the first game Curry really put the team on his back. He dropped 40 points (12-19 shooting, including 8-11 from three) in Miami, as well as seven assists, six rebounds, and three steals. Golden State was down 93-94 when Curry checked back into the game with seven-and-a-half minutes remaining, and subsequently won 114-97. They ended the game on a 21-3 run, keyed by 10 points from Curry.
Steph Curry is insane. He's impossible. He's awesome.
