Stupid, Stupid Mother Duck Leads Ducklings Across IndyCar Track

I hope someone called Duckling Protective Services, because this is really just terrible timing to take the kids out for a swim. She's probably Canadian.

During Friday practice for this weekend's events at Belle Isle, Detroit, mama duck led her five little ones across the straightaway. They miraculously made it to the wall, but couldn't get over it—so they started weaving back and forth across the track as cars zoomed by. Finally the yellow flag came out, and track workers escorted the wayward waterfowl to safety.

Stupid ducks.
