Rebilas-Imagn Images Phoenix Suns guard Jalen Green will be re-evaluated in four to six weeks after sustaining a right hamstring strain, the team announced Tuesday.
Green, acquired by Phoenix in the offseason in the blockbuster trade which sent Kevin Durant to Houston, re-aggravated his hamstring in Saturday's 114-103 win over the Los Angeles Clippers.
He missed the first eight games of the season due to a right hamstring injury which first occurred during training camp. Green, 23, played in just two games for the Suns before being sidelined once again.
One of those games, his Phoenix debut last Thursday against the Clippers, saw him amass 29 points, the most by a Suns player in his franchise debut since Charles Barkley in 1992. He also started the game Saturday against the Clippers and scored two points in seven minutes.
Phoenix carries a three-game winning streak that took the team back above .500 into Wednesday's game at the Dallas Mavericks.
