Suns give up late lead, hit free throws to sink Knicks

Rebilas-Imagn Images Devin Booker scored 31 points, Dillon Brooks added 27 and the pair combined for nine 3-pointers as the host Phoenix Suns held off the New York Knicks 112-107 on Friday.
Grayson Allen made four free throws and Brooks hit two in the final 13.5 seconds after the Knicks overcame a 12-point deficit to tie the game at 101 with three minutes remaining.
Jalen Brunson scored 27 points and made five 3-pointers and Karl-Anthony Towns had 15 points and 12 rebounds for the Knicks, who have lost five of six.
Miles McBride scored 17 points and OJ Anunoby added 15 for the Knicks.
Anunoby's two free throws tied the game at 101-all before the Suns went back up by five on Booker's jumper and Royce O'Neale's fourth 3-pointer.
McBride hit a jumper to make it 106-103 before Grayson Allen forced a turnover and made two free throws with 13.5 seconds left. Mikal Bridges drained a 3-pointer with five seconds left as the Knicks closed to 108-106 before Allen made two more free throws.
Anunoby missed two of three free throws with 2.2 seconds left, and Brooks iced the game with his free throws.
O'Neale had 12 points for the Suns, who were 16 of 42 from distance, their 17th game of at least 15 treys this season. They have made 69 in their last four games.
There were 10 ties and 13 lead changes, with the final lead change coming on O'Neale's 3-pointer midway through for an 81-80 lead that sparked a 14-0 run for a 92-80 lead late in the third quarter.
The Suns have won five straight at home and broke a three-game losing streak to the Knicks.
The Suns are 22-11 since starting 1-4 in coach Jordan Ott's first season.
Josh Hart (ankle), Landry Shamet (shoulder) and Guerschon Yabusele (quad) did not play for the Knicks.
