Swiss Stage continues at $5M World Championships

FlyQuest, Gen.G Esports, G2 Esports and Hanwha Life won their Swiss Stage matches on Saturday at the $5 million League of Legends 2025 World Championship in Beijing.

Competing in best-of-one Round 3 Mid Matches between 1-1 teams, FlyQuest sank Secret Whales in 32 minutes on blue; Gen.G toppled T1 in 28 minutes on blue; G2 beat Bilibili Gaming in 28 minutes on red; and Hanwha Life handled 100 Thieves on blue.

Teams need three wins in the five-round Swiss Stage to reach the Knockout Stage, while teams with three losses will be eliminated. All matches are best-of-one except for elimination and advancement matches, which are best-of-three.

Eight teams will make the Knockout Stage, a single-elimination bracket starting Oct. 28 where all matches are best-of-five. The winner of the Nov. 9 grand final will earn $1 million, with $800,000 going to the runner-up.

KT Rolster and Anyone's Legend already qualified for the Knockout Stage.

The action continues on Sunday with two best-of-three Round 3 Low Matches between 0-2 teams. Losers will be eliminated. The schedule is:
