T1 sweep away G2 Esports at Mid-Season Invitational

Jan. 24, 2020 T1 swept G2 Esports on Friday and advanced to the lower-bracket final of the League of Legends Mid-Season Invitational 2024 in Chengdu, China.
T1 will face Bilibili Gaming on Saturday, with the winner advancing to Sunday's best-of-five grand final against Gen.G Esports.
T1 defeated G2 Esports in 27 minutes on blue before back-to-back wins on red in 34 and 35 minutes.
G2 Esports finished in fourth place and earned $25,000.
The $250,000 tournament began on May 1 with 12 teams competing for a $50,000 grand prize and qualification into the 2024 World Championship.
