Lions social media makes season a little less agonizing for fans
At some point in life, I’m sure almost everyone has heard that saying about making the best of a bad situation. If there’s a unit right now making the most out of their current situation, it would have to be the social media department for the Detroit Lions. ...

The 2021 NFL season is starting to pick up and we’re finally starting to get a clear picture of which teams are about that action and which teams are not. NFL Week 4 Betting Primer: Best Over/Under, Spread, Teaser, and Prop Bets
If not for a fluke missed extra point at the end of Chargers-Chiefs last week, we’d be coming off a perfect 4-0 week. But nothing wrong with a 3-0-1 showing (thanks to buying the half-point there)....
Famous kneecap-biting Lions are tired of getting kicked in the butt with 60-yard field goals
Last Sunday, the Detroit Lions were moments away from their first victory of the 2021 NFL season, the first of new head coach Dan Campbell’s career. They led the Ravens 17-16 with only three seconds left on the clock. Then, Justin Tucker, the most accurate kicker in the history of the NFL trotted ou...
When will these teams finally win and finally lose?
After three weeks, nearly everyone in the NFL has a win, and nearly everyone has a loss. There are just five winless teams remaining, and five undefeated teams keeping the 1972 Dolphins from their annual champagne toast....

How far is T.J. from that ‘elite’ tight end tier?
Travis Kelce, Darren Waller, George Kittle. Those are the only three tight ends that most agree are at the top of the position. There are a few people out there who believe Kittle’s solid two-year stretch of 2018 and 2019 overshadow his greater flaws as a pass-catcher. There are those who believe Tr...

The NFL’s television schedule doesn’t tell you everything about who’s expected to be good in a given season. The Cowboys and Steelers will always get plenty of games in prime time, because no matter what, they’re going to draw eyeballs....
Jared Goff thinks the Lions can win the NFC North (and no, we couldn't get through writing this headline without laughing)
Jared Goff must have dreamed of being back in sunny southern California Sunday night and woke up Monday morning thinking he was still in Los Angeles playing for the Rams. Speaking with reporters Monday, the Detroit Lions QB sounds optimistic about the team’s chances this year. This is after the Lion...

Don’t look now, but the Lions are quietly having an incredible offseason
The Lions are somehow a comedy and tragedy at the same time. They’re like the Forrest Gump of NFL teams, if Forrest Gump didn’t entertain anyone. Despite several very talented players throughout their history, the Lions have never won a Super Bowl let alone played in one. Hell, they’ve only won one ...
New Lions coach Dan Campbell answers age-old question: What if lighting a fart were a person?
You would have thought that after going through a disaster of an era with a phony-tough gasbag (who might also be a rapist) as a coach, the Detroit Lions would try and go the other direction. Maybe hire someone simply smart who is good at his job and might think about moving the team in the general ...

The Dolphins Still Have A Big Mess To Clean Up
The Dolphins fired Joe Philbin yesterday—by phone, it turns out—and we got the usual post-firing report on how dysfunctional things had gotten under his tenure. But another report today says Miami players won’t be content with just a new head coach—they want both coordinators out too....
