Rich Dauer, Astros Coach Who Nearly Died During 2017 Championship Parade, Joins All-Star Game Coaching Staff
This is very cool. Rich Dauer has been out of baseball since he collapsed during the Houston Astros championship parade last November and nearly died of an acute subdural hematoma. He had to undergo emergency brain surgery, and endured a lengthy recovery process; the closest he’s come to baseball si...
Put Ichiro In The Home Run Derby!
Here are two facts. 1) MLB may struggle getting marquee players in the Home Run Derby this year, with many of the best sluggers and biggest names reportedly not interested....
Nelson Cruz Stops All-Star Game To Take Photo With Joe West
Mariners DH Nelson Cruz came to the plate in the sixth inning of tonight’s All-Star Game. But before he stepped into the box, he stopped to take a cell phone photo with umpire Joe West. “The oldest guys in the game,” he told West after Cardinals catcher Yadier Molina snapped the photo....
Business-Ass A-Rod Wanders Around Diamond Looking Official As Hell
At the top of the All-Star Game’s second inning, old retiree A-Rod seemed super psyched to be back on the diamond. The former superstar gave the Jimmy Fallon treatment to the NL infield, flattering and laughing with the younger crowd....

"Guys, Start Talking"
Say what you will about Colin Cowherd and Jason Whitlock, but it’s clear they both take direction well. Here are the All Takes Matter hosts pretending to chat—at the direction of Fox broadcast personnel—as the network attempts to promote their shitty TV show....
Savor The Moment The Canadian Anthem Singers Realized Their Buddy Had Gone Rogue
The biggest story to come out of last night’s MLB All-Star Game had nothing to do with the game at all, but with a pregame performance of “O Canada.” Remigio Pereira, member of the Canadian singing group The Tenors, replaced some of the lyrics in the anthem with “all lives matter,” a favored politic...
"O Canada" Rendition Features Modified, Racist Lyrics [Update]
This only aired in Canada, as Fox went to commercial break in the U.S. All-Star Game broadcast, but what the fuck? These four Canadian men (known as The Tenors) decided to add one of white supremacists’ favorite phrases into “O Canada.” We have no idea what is going on here....
