Texans Coach Gary Kubiak Collapses On Field During Game [UPDATING]
Head coach Gary Kubiak collapsed on the field during halftime of tonight's Colts-Texans game.
According to sideline reporter Michele Tafoya, Kubiak attempted to sit up but could not, and was unable to open his eyes but was talking as he was taken off the field in a stretcher. Tafoya also reported that to her, Kubiak seemed to be "extraordinary pain." Kubiak reportedly never lost consciousness.
Kubiak was taken to an unnamed local hospital in an ambulance, although defensive coordinator Wade Phillips told Tafoya that the trip was "precautionary."
Update: The Texans have said that Kubiak did not suffer a heart attack.
