The Atlanta Braves Are Historically Futile At Home

At 7-23, the Atlanta Braves have the worst record in the majors, and they’re on track to put up the worst record in over a century. But their overall record masks an interesting home/away split. The Braves are 6-8 on the road, which is quite respectable. But that also means they’re an eye-popping 1-15 at home. They have played 16 games at home, and won just one. Their home winning percentage is .0625.

But the best statistic to capture their futility at home is this one:


Congratulations to the Dodgers for losing to the Braves at Turner Field, and to Cobb County residents, who will pay almost $400 million for a new stadium for this garbage team.
