The Bills Beat The Browns And Everyone In The Press Box Survived, In One GIF

Today, the weather report for the neighborhood of Cleveland Browns Stadium said, "Rain is only occurring in a few spots." One was, for most the game, the stadium itself, and another might as well have been the press box. If you checked in on Browns and Bills beat writers, you found a lot of deadpan reactions to some pretty bad football and some outright griping. "Perpetually cursed" popped up a couple times. Fittingly, our GIF today is sure to make fans of both teams sad: C.J. Spiller burning the Browns defense for a long touchdown run off a Ryan Fitzpatrick screen pass. Cool, right? But that same C.J. Spiller injured his shoulder and was "in obvious pain as he stayed on the ground for several minutes before he was helped to his feet by trainers." Enjoy this one—might be the last we see of Spiller on the field for a little while.

Tashard Choice actually filled in admirably, and may have been the difference—he ended up with 91 yard on 20 carries—but really, the difference was that the Browns offense never got going: At one point, Trent Richardson—otherwise known as the only reason to watch Browns games—had 4 yards on 7 carries, and that was right before halftime.
