Image: Lindsey Wasson/Getty Images The Toronto Blue Jays brought a 2-1 lead into the bottom of the seventh inning last night in Seattle. Jarrod Dyson, an extremely fast man who plays for the Mariners, led off the inning with a single to center field. Down a run late, you just knew the Mariners were gonna get Dyson moving on the base paths, and move he did! Quite far, in fact:
Having scored an important run via ridiculous little league hijinks, it was only fair that the Mariners return the favor, an inning later, after a Jose Bautista two-out walk:
Bautista’s illicit jaunt around the bases would end there at second base, but his Blue Jays would go on to win, 4-2. Tighten up, baseball.
