The Culinary Genius Of Bill Belichick

For some reason, today seems like a really, really, r-e-a-l-l-y slow sports day. Maybe it's because the NFL lineup at 1:00 is substandard. Maybe it's because Dan Shanoff is making nary a sound as he quietly crunchees the numbers to see if a three-loss team can make the BCS championship game. So this is as good a time as any for a bizarre vintage clip of Bill Belichick, then with the Cleveland Browns, making a peanut butter and jelly sandwich.

In many ways, the PB&J typifies the Belichick mantra. Both look disgusting, yet it's not always about appearances. Both provide nourishment, be it for the tummies of third graders or the ego of Bill Simmons. And neither of them have their original first-round draft pick in the '08 draft.
