The Flyers Want Fans' Help In Setting The Dumbest World Record
One day, setting obscure, silly world records will stop being a method to generate buzz. Today is not that day.
The Philadelphia Flyers are recruiting their fans to head over to Wells Fargo Center on Monday in order to nab a milestone for the Guinness Book of World Records. The record they're trying to set? Most people to simultaneously watch paint dry. No, really. Here's the Facebook event page and description:
Help us set a new Guinness Book of World Records for the most people to simultaneously watch paint dry when we paint the lines and logos into the ice at Wells Fargo Center this Monday at 11 a.m.!
The eager tone of whoever wrote the description means that he or she is insane or just really talented at making anything sound exciting.
