The Grambling State Baseball Team Lost A Game 30-0
We did our best to keep you abreast of Grambling State's historically awful season on the basketball court, but it turns out that the school's futility sometimes extends to the baseball diamond as well.
Yesterday, the Grambling State Tigers took on the Central Arkansas Bears, and things did not go well for the Tigers. They surrendered 30 runs, 27 hits, and committed six errors. Martin Colby was the only Tigers pitcher to make it through two full innings, and he gave up nine hits and eight runs. If you're a fan of schadenfreude, you'll have a great time perusing the box score.
Oh, and be sure to take a look at the stat line for Michael Marietta, who was out there handling business for the Bears to the tune of seven hits, 11 RBIs, three home runs, and three doubles.
