The Jaguars Talked Just Ungodly Amounts Of Shit
Kevin C. Cox/Getty Images The Jaguars have spent all season being doubted and picked against, both by opponents and by just about every neutral observer who has paid attention to the franchise over the last 18 years or so. And no one appeared quite so confident that these were the “same old Jags” as the Pittsburgh Steelers, who spent the week belittling Jacksonville’s chances and looking ahead to another showdown with the Patriots. So, yeah, Jaguars players had something to say.
Look at these quotes. This is wonderful. There’s something so refreshing about a defense that gave up 42 still shit-talking their beaten opponents this brutally, because it doesn’t matter as long as you don’t give up more than you score. This was the biggest win of just about all of these guys’ careers, and I would like to see more pro athletes give into the temptation to be as petty as all hell. It’s far more relatable.
If the Jaguars somehow beat the Patriots next week, Jalen Ramsey is going to explode.
