The Last Day For The A.M. Jump

In the ancient scrolls, it is prophesied: The Daily Quickie begat the A.M. Jump which begat ... well, a bunch of people named gohawks391 informing us that "Kansas is gonna win this weekend!!!!" Yes, today is the last day for DJ Gallo's A.M. Jump.

We think Gallo is an awfully funny writer — and he's not leaving the Leader over there — but the format of the Jump never quite jived with his talents, and we don't remember the column every gaining much traction whatsoever. Yeah, it'll remain a constant "conversation" over there, and we can only thank ESPN for the continued raising of the national sports discourse.
