The Last Two Shots Of That Crazy Thunder-Warriors Game
Andre Iguodala's buzzer-beater capped off an insane finish to tonight's Thunder-Warriors game, giving Golden State a 116-115 win.
Before Iguodala's bucket, the Thunder had possession and roughly 14 seconds to take the final shot. After Kevin Durant was double-teamed, he passed the ball off to Russell Westbrook, who sank a deep, rushed three-pointer for a 115-114 lead, sucking the noise out of Oracle Arena.
But Westbrook left 2.3 seconds on the clock. The Warriors had a chance to retaliate, and after a timeout, Klay Thompson found a breaking Andre Iguodala, who turned and shot while fading right to stun the Thunder. And just like that, Westbrook's shit didn't mean shit.
