The NBA Season Finally Comes To A Close

Tonight's the last night of the NBA regular season — it's only been going on since freaking October — and we say goodbye to a rather limp sked we're hoping will be redeemed by the playoffs. Up for grabs tonight? That last playoff spot in the West — which the Clippers appears to have given up on — and some small seeding business. (Remember, the top three teams in the Eastern Conference are all in the same division; the Bulls are trying to hang onto that No. 2 seed; here are the playoff scenarios.)

Tomorrow, we'll be rolling out our NBA Playoff Pants Party previews, written (presumably late tonight) by the gang at Free Darko, but let's try to enjoy one last night of the regular season before, you know, we can start actually paying attention.

(By the way, a note to the Deadspin Up! All Night crew: The Gawker folks worked on Nibbles all day today and claim you can go over 1,000 comments tonight without crashing. So go to it, you maniacs.)
