The U.S. Open Women's Semifinals Will Be All-American

Unseeded Sloane Stephens and No. 9 Venus Williams clinched their spots yesterday, with wins over No. 16 Anastasija Sevastova and No. 13 Petra Kvitova, respectively. Stephens and Williams will play each other tomorrow evening. No. 20 CoCo Vandeweghe had the biggest quarterfinal upset to pull in order to earn her spot, defeating No. 1 Karolina Pliskova today. And No. 15 Madison Keys clinched the final berth, beating unseeded Kaia Kanepi tonight:
Vandeweghe and Keys play tomorrow as well, and the final will be held Saturday. Go America!!
