The Vancouver Canucks' Millionaire Uniforms Are Quite Snazzy
The Canucks might be currently struggling for a playoff spot, but at least they're looking nice while doing it.
Vancouver's worn these throwbacks once before— last season, against the Red Wings—but they're still just as fantastic for today's Heritage Classic. The sweaters belong to the Vancouver Millionaires, a name probably in the top three of all team names.
For the unfamiliar, the Millionaires (later called the Maroons) were a pro team that operated from 1911 to 1926. The Canucks bought the team's rights in 2010, so now they can don their uniforms. The Millionaires' name should really make a more permanent comeback, though.
For equality, here's the Ottawa Senators' uniform today, a throwback from an eight-year period in the 1920s. They're also solid:
