These Adorable Kids Are Going To Take Down MLB's Iron-Fisted Video Regime, But We Still Need Your Help
The MLB video war continues, quietly, even though we've kind of been actively ignoring one another for some time now. We received a lot of initial interest in our plan to take down the iron-fisted video regime, but then I guess it rained everywhere in America for two weeks and everyone's practice was canceled and some people decided that their kids probably shouldn't be on the internet, even if it is for a heroic cause. But Rick and his kids, J (four years old) and M (two years old), persevered. Rick, J, and M have reenacted for you both Robin Ventura's charge onto the mound after getting hit by a Nolan Ryan pitch, and the Ray Fosse and Pete Rose collision from the 1970 All-Star Game.
We hope that Rick and his adorable kids are going to send us some more current highlights in the next few weeks, but we're also still hoping to hear from others, toddlers and grown folks alike, who want to help us subvert MLB video. Send us video of your highlight reenactments, past or present, to [email protected], subject "Team Deadspin." It can be as old as The Catch. It can be as fresh as Ryan Rayburn's assist. We look forward to hearing from you.
