Three High School Soccer Players Charged With Raping Students At Camp
Three Massachusetts high school soccer players are under arrest on charges in the nature of sexual assault at a team-building camp.
Police say 17-year-old Galileo Mondol and two 16-year-old teammates on the Somerville High School junior varsity boys' soccer team entered a freshman cabin at Camp Lenox in Otis, Mass. last Sunday and sexually assaulted three victims.
Police are withholding the 16-year-olds' names on account of their age.
The suspects were arrested and charged on Friday. Mondol was charged with ten counts, including aggravated rape of a child under the age of 16, indecent assault and battery and three counts of witness intimidation. According to the , the other two suspects will face similar charges.
The victims' identities and genders are unknown.
