Oh man. Tiger Woods is atop the leaderboard in the third round of the Valspar Championship in Palm Harbor, Florida. Woods shot a 68 on Friday, and has stayed out of trouble so far on Saturday, scattering four birdies thru 11 holes without any bogies. He jumped into a tie for the lead with this delicious chip shot on the par-4 9th:

This was Tiger’s second clutch chip of the day, after this beauty on the 4th set him up for a birdie putt:

I’m sorry, I can’t help but be excited about this. Golf is exponentially more fun with Tiger Woods in contending form.
