Titans WR Calvin Ridley, RB Tyjae Spears questionable for Sunday's game
Tennessee Titans wide receiver Calvin Ridley (0) takes the field before the game against the Los Angeles Rams at Nissan Stadium in Nashville, Tenn., Sunday, Sept. 14, 2025. Tennessee Titans running back Tyjae Spears and wide receiver Calvin Ridley are both questionable for Sunday's game at Arizona, coach Brian Callahan told reporters Friday.
Ridley was back at practice Friday after missing Wednesday and Thursday with knee and elbow injuries. After posting 1,017 yards and four touchdowns in his first season in Tennessee and each of his last three full seasons, the veteran receiver, 30, has gotten off to a slow start, managing just 10 catches for 141 yards and no touchdowns in the first four games of the 2025 season.
The Titans (0-4) have a league-worst 494 passing yards through Week 4 as No. 1 overall pick Cam Ward has struggled to generate production at the onset of his NFL career.
Spears, 24, began the season on injured reserve after sustaining a high ankle sprain in the Titans' preseason opener. He returned to practice for the first time Wednesday but remains on IR with a questionable designation for Sunday's game.
A third-round pick in the 2023 draft, Spears has rushed for 765 yards and six touchdowns in his first two seasons with Tennessee, averaging 6.3 yards per carry.
Callahan also said offensive linemen JC Latham (hip) and Blake Hance (shoulder), wide receiver Bryce Oliver (knee) and safety Mike Brown (knee) have been ruled out .
