To Hell With Turkish Basketball, Kevin Love Wants To Play Beach Volleyball For Jose Cuervo

While most locked out NBA players eye basketball opportunities overseas, one man stands apart as a true patriot. His name is Kevin Love. And Kevin Love loves America. Or, rather, Kevin Love loves NAFTA. According to Darren Rovell, Love has signed an endorsement deal with the Jose Cuervo tequileria and hopes to qualify for the Jose Cuervo Pro Beach Volleyball Series during the NBA lockout. Love was in Times Square today on a makeshift sand court trying out for the Manhattan Beach Open on August 26. No word yet about his performance, but we like his chances. He's very tall, and his uncle, Mike Love, is the lead singer for the Beach Boys.
