Today In MLB Blogs
This image was lost some time after publication. Occasionally we like to take a scenic carriage ride through MLB Blogs to soak in the landscape:
Over on The Dog Ate Daron's Homework, Brewers' announcer Daron Sutton interviews Albert Pujols, who admits he doesn't know much about Joe DiMaggio or Stan Musial, but goes on and on in detail about Lyle Overbay ... On Summer Odyssey 2005, a guy from Australia takes a tour of U.S. Major League ballparks. Nice premise, but there's a flaw: The season's half over and apparently he hasn't left Syndey yet ... On Look Who I Just Interviewed, a 13-year-old waxes poetic on former Astro Jimmy Wynn, who began using crutches before the kid was born.
On The Baseball View, which is suposed to be about the Minnesota Twins, our author reviews the Live 8 Concert and has harsh words for R.E.M. Meanwhile, Out of the 612's D.C. Parmet, who is Elton John's road manager, actually talks about the Twins ...
On a positive note, Tommy Lasorda (or more likely, his office assistant) has not made an entry in his blog since June 21.
