Tuesday May 28 Best Sports Betting Picks & Predictions For NBA Playoffs, French Open, & More
A Celtics-Mavericks NBA Finals is all but guaranteed, but do the Minnesota Timberwolves have one big fight left in them?
The New York Rangers are poised to take a big lead in their series but there are signs indicating another result, and, the French Open is serving some extra sports TV hours, so we’ll highlight three of the elite players in an all-female parlay.
Minnesota Timberwolves at Dallas Mavericks
Sports fans undoubtedly have enjoyed the conference finals games in the NBA. The problem? A dreaded double sweep. On Tuesday night, host Dallas has a chance to duplicate what the Boston Celtics did on the road a night earlier.
Timberwolves’ faithful have to be a bit confused. The team tried all forms of straight defense, zone and gimmick matchups.
Do you blitz Luka Doncic and double team him at the top of the 3-point arc, or do you try to play him with one man and suffer the consequences? Both strategies failed miserably.
Doncic scored 33 points, matched only by his fellow elite closer, Kyrie Irving, who eagerly picked up the slack whenever it was needed in Game 3.
Only a paranormal performance from Anthony Edwards with a complementary shocker from Karl-Anthony Towns will rescue Minnesota. One thing is fairly certain: Doncic and Irving will be at their best once more and it’s difficult to find any relatively safe statistical outcomes other than the dynamic Dallas duo.
Luka-Ky parlay: Doncic 25+ points with 6+rebounds with 6+ assists with Irving 20+ points at -110 (FanDuel).
New York Rangers at Florida Panthers
Against the odds, the Rangers have taken a 2-1 lead in their Eastern Conference finals series against the Florida Panthers. After Florida split two games in New York, it was unable to close the deal on Sunday at home.
Despite the fact that the Panthers outshot the Rangers 37-23, New York prevailed 5-4 in overtime.
There is no doubting which team is more desperate as Game 4 approaches.
The Rangers blocked 37 shots. The Panthers blocked 14 shots. There was simply more “want-to” in the room for New York. The action figures to shift in Game 4, as Florida pushes the pace and continues to pressure goalie Igor Shesterkin and the Rangers defense.
Sam Reinhart, who led the Panthers in regular season goals with 57, scored twice in Game 3. Carter Verhaeghe and Matthew Tkachuk also registered two points, so the Panthers offense is primed for a big effort on Tuesday night.
Panthers money line with game total OVER 3.5 goals at -115 (FanDuel)
French Open Tennis
For early risers and for those who have trouble sleeping, we give you a three-leg parlay for Tuesday night into Wednesday morning.
It’s Ons Jabeur, Iga Swiatek and Coco Gauff.
For our bet, we will rely on Jabeur’s history in recent years. She was runner-up at Wimbledon in 2022 and 2023, as well as last year’s US Open. She reached the quarterfinals in last year’s French Open, so we believe she is focused on improving on that finish.
The World No. 1 Swiatek might feel that she has a little more to prove against a former champion, Naomi Osaka. To find plus-money value, we will invest in a couple of routes.
Three leg parlay: Jabeur to win with Swiatek to win in straight sets and Gauff to win in straight sets at +107 (DraftKings)
