Mandatory Credit: Jordan Johnson-USA TODAY Sports Inclement weather in Minneapolis forced the postponement of Saturday's game between the Minnesota Twins and Oakland Athletics.
The game is scheduled to be made up Sunday as part of a split doubleheader, with the first game set for a 2:10 p.m. Eastern time start and the second for 7:40 p.m.
The Twins have won the first two games of the series, including a 6-5 victory in 10 innings on Friday night. Minnesota battled back from a 4-0 deficit to force extra innings and get the win.
Twins right-hander Bailey Ober (5-4, 5.13 ERA) was scheduled to start Saturday against the Athletics righty Joey Estes (2-2, 4.78). Minnesota right-hander Chris Paddock (5-3, 4.79) was slated to start the original Sunday day game against Oakland left-hander JP Sears (4-5, 4.02).
