Reibe is ranked No. 23 overall in the ESPN 100 and No. 33 by the 247Sports composite.
The big man from the Bullis School (Potomac, Md.) is ranked as the No. 2 center by ESPN.
Reibe committed to the two-time defending national champion Huskies after visits to Kansas, Creighton, Indiana and Oregon.
"The player development stood out to me," Reibe told ESPN. "... Sending six players to the league in two years and winning two national championships is very special. Coach (Dan) Hurley's plan with me aligns perfectly and I have a great relationship with all the coaches and players. It was an indescribable feeling that told me UConn is home."
Reibe has been competing internationally for the German national team since he was 15.
He joins a recruiting class that includes guard Darius Adams (La Porte, Ind.), ranked No. 19 by ESPN.
