Unfortunately for Besiktas—who lost, 3-1—the club now faces punishment for welcoming the adorable cat into its home. UEFA considered the feline’s presence proof of “insufficient organization,” and slapped Besiktas with a fine.
A mistake. Hosting a cat is proof of a more sufficient organization, not an insufficient one. Alas.
