UVA Coach Tony Bennett Leaves Game After Collapsing On Sideline [UPDATE]
Virginia has a big lead over Hampton in their 1-vs-16 first-round matchup, but the scoreboard is the least of Cavaliers fans’ concern as head coach Tony Bennett left the game late in the first half after collapsing on the sideline.
Assistants helped Bennett to the locker room, and we’re awaiting an update on his condition.
Update (4:18 p.m.): The second half is underway and Bennett is back on the bench. We still have no word on what overcame him.
