Vyctorius Miller posts 30 as Oklahoma State dominates Prairie View A&M

Mandatory Credit: William Purnell-Imagn Images Vyctorius Miller scored a game-high 30 points to lead Oklahoma State to a 94-67 win against Prairie View A&M on Wednesday in Stillwater, Okla.
Miller connected on 8 of 12 field goal attempts and shot 5 of 8 from 3-point range.
Parsa Fallah scored 10 points and grabbed seven rebounds and Kanye Clary chipped in nine points for the Cowboys (3-0)
Tai'Reon Joseph led Prairie View A&M with 16 points while Doug Young and Marcel Bryant each tallied 10 points for the Panthers (2-2).
OSU held a commanding 54-31 rebounding advantage. The Cowboys cleaned up the offensive glass with 19 rebounds which led to 23 second-chance points. The Panthers pulled down just five offensive boards.
Both teams got off to sluggish starts on offense but Miller drained a corner three to send the Cowboys into the first media timeout with an 8-3 lead.
When Young rattled in a three from the wing, Prairie View A&M trailed 10-9 with 13:13 left in the first half. Moments later, the Panthers took a 15-14 lead on Dontae Horne's steal which led to Joseph's lefty slam in transition and prompted an OSU timeout.
After the OSU timeout the Cowboys reeled off a 17-3 run to take a 31-18 lead. Christian Coleman's putback punctuated the rally. The Cowboys outscored the Panthers 44-26 on points in the paint.
Another Miller 3-pointer from the corner extended the OSU lead to 46-30 as halftime neared. But it was Joseph's layup that capped the first-half scoring as OSU held a 46-32 lead at the break.
Unlike their slow start in the first half, the Cowboys ripped off an 14-4 run coming out of the locker room. Ryan Crotty's tip-in gave OSU a 60-36 lead with 15:56 to play.
Isaiah Coleman's steal and breakaway dunk capped a 12-0 OSU run as the Cowboys went up 68-36 with 12:09 left in the game.
The Panthers had a 9-2 scoring spurt that Joseph got started with a 3-pointer. The PVA&M rally cut the OSU lead to 73-49 with 7:12 to play, but the Panthers got no closer than 21 the rest of the way.
