Warriors overwhelm Jazz with balanced attack

Stephen Curry added 25 points, including five 3-pointers in the final eight minutes. He also dished out 10 assists and grabbed six rebounds in the win.
Andrew Wiggins contributed 17 points, Draymond Green totaled 12 points, nine rebounds and eight assists and the Warriors benefited from eight players scoring in double figures as part of a solid road performance.
Collin Sexton and Jordan Clarkson each scored 22 points, but Utah trailed by double digits for most of the second half.
Lauri Markkanen added 19 points for the Jazz, who hadn't played since Thursday.
Golden State nailed 20 of 44 3-pointers compared to Utah's 11-for-32 shooting from outside.
The Warriors used a 14-5 surge, capped by Curry's first 3-pointer of the contest, to take a 28-17 lead in the first quarter.
The Jazz tied the game at 39-39 with a 7-0 run in the second quarter that included five straight points from Clarkson.
Golden State was up 63-55 at halftime thanks to a strong finish in the second quarter.
In the final 19.9 seconds, Curry hit a jumper and Green nailed a 41-foot 3-pointer on the move at the buzzer.
Thompson made a layup and a 3 to open the second half while giving the Warriors their biggest lead to that point at 68-55.
Utah got the deficit down to eight a couple of times before Golden State went up by 15 after Wiggins finished off a 7-0 run with five points.
After the Jazz pulled within eight again at 86-78 with 1:55 remaining, the Warriors took a 93-80 lead by the end of the third quarter. They got another last-second bucket when Lester Quinones found Thompson with a full-court pass for a buzzer-beating layup.
Utah cut the Warriors' lead down to nine with 8:14 left in the game, but Curry drained three threes during a 14-5 spurt to help increase Golden State's lead to 114-96 with 4:47 remaining. Curry added two more treys after that run.
