Washington's rally falls short as Oregon holds on

Oregon (16-7, 8-4 Pac-12) swept the two games against Washington (12-11, 4-8), its future Big Ten rival.
Kwame Evans Jr. finished with 15 points and N'Faly Dante had 15 points, nine rebounds and three blocked shots for Oregon.
Washington was led by Sahvir Wheeler's 16 points and seven assists. Braxton Meah had 15 points, 12 rebounds and three blocked shots before fouling out. Keion Brooks Jr. also had 15 points for the Huskies.
Washington was 4 of 21 from 3-point range and committed 15 turnovers that led to 21 points for Oregon.
The Huskies outscored Oregon 20-3 to cut the deficit to one at 73-72 with 3:38 remaining.
The Ducks led 76-74 with 2:01 left after Dante made one of two free throw attempts. Couisnard stole the ball, which led to Jadrian Tracey's layup that increased Oregon's lead to 78-74.
The Ducks went without a field goal from the 9:25 mark to Tracey's layup with 1:20 left. They went 0 of 8 from the field and had three turnovers in that span.
Wilhelm Breidenbach made a layup with 1:09 remaining to cut the deficit to 78-76.
After each team had a failed possession, Dante made one of two free throw attempts to give Oregon a 79-76 lead with 32 seconds remaining.
Briedenbach shot an air ball from 3-point range and Couisnard was fouled after grabbing the rebound. Couisnard made both free throws to give Oregon an 81-76 lead with 18.9 seconds left.
Holland made a 3-pointer to cut the deficit to 81-79 with 13.3 seconds remaining.
Couisnard then made two free throws with 10 seconds left before Wheeler was fouled driving to the basket with 7.5 seconds left.
Wheeler made one of two free throws to cut the deficit to 83-80. Jackson Shelstad then made both free throws to cement the win.
After Washington cut the deficit to 51-43 with 14:42 left, Oregon went on a 10-1 run. A 3-pointer by Tracey gave the Ducks a 61-44 lead with 11:26 remaining. Dante's three-point play with 10:25 left put the Ducks up 66-46.
