Watch Eric Gordon Slowly Back Away From Reporters While Giving World's Most Awkward Interview
Yesterday we told you about poor Eric Gordon's desperate quest to get out of New Orleans, despite the fact that the Hornets will almost certainly match the Phoenix Suns' four-year, $58 million offer sheet.
Shortly after Gordon's comments about wanting to leave New Orleans made the rounds, Hornets247.com posted a of video Gordon answering questions from a gaggle of reporters at Team USA's practice facility in Las Vegas, Nev. The video is hilarious, because Gordon is so clearly uncomfortable, and continually backs away from the reporters throughout the course of the 12-minute Q&A session.
It's a long video, but I highly recommend that you watch the whole thing and savor every one of Gordon's small, nearly imperceptible shuffles backwards. If you're too lazy, though, just fast forward by two minute increments and notice how much closer Gordon gets to the basket and the far wall as the interview progresses:
Free Eric Gordon.
