There was a time before Dan Snyder filed his lawsuit, before he began crusading against the First Amendment. It was a simple time. In those days, Dan Snyder was merely a churlish baby billionaire who'd ruined a proud franchise and earned the enmity of vast armies of people who wanted nothing more than to see Dan Snyder defenestrated in one of his Armani Jr. suits.

In those days, too, a mad prophet walked among us. John Riggins was his name. Riggins had taken to strange behavior in the woods near his home. He was often found posing in front of a Caterpillar backhoe or astride a facecord of freshly cut lumber, speaking the Truth about Dan Snyder (or at least a version of it easily uploaded to YouTube).
