Wes Welker And Friends Went To A Wine Tasting In Aspen, Allegedly Picked A Fight With Security
That's what the New York Post said happened Friday night, when Welker and six of his "burly buddies" tried to just waltz right into an event that required tickets at the 30th annual Food & Wine Classic.
Welker is in Aspen for his wedding to former Miss International Hooters Girl Anna Burns, which is scheduled for this weekend. The Post described Welker's outing as "what seemed to be an unofficial bachelor party." Sounds like they had fun:
Sources say Welker strolled up to the bash at restaurant Above the Salt with his posse and tried to rush in without checking in with party staffers. When security tackled the group, witnesses said they still wouldn't cooperate, and demanded to be let in right away.
"Security tried to subdue the group" when a brawl almost broke out, a source told us. "Security then physically restrained [Welker] and his group to break everything up."
Police made no arrests. As far as we know, once the cops got involved, Welker dropped it.
