When Pole Vaulters Get Bored

Pole vaulting has to be one of the dangerous disciplines in track and field (google "Pole Vault Accident" sometime). Despite the danger, there is still the boredom of war, and the above video has it all, yips-free: one-legged vaulting, vaulting off of shit, catching shit while vaulting, and vaulting with all kinds of crazy backflip thingys.

It masks the frustration of vaulting. The torn hands. The broken poles. The infinite precision of timing to just get over the bar and not catapult yourself into certain doom.

It's all fun and games until someone misses the mat.
