Will Ferrell And Kristen Wiig Are Seriously Making A Lifetime Movie
This is not a drill: Will Ferrell and Kristen Wiig are making a Lifetime movie. It’s called The Deadly Adoption. Here is your trailer.
To reiterate, this is a serious and real thing that is happening. Although, as the AV Club points out, the news of this sure-to-be camp classic was leaked on April Fools’ Day, which led people to believe that it was a joke. And you can see why. But no one is being punk’d here: The Deadly Adoption is the story of a couple who take a young, pregnant woman into their home, in hopes of adopting her baby. But judging from the blood-and-guns portions of the trailer, everything goes horribly and dramatically wrong. It’s a Lifetime movie, so it would be weird if shit didn’t hit the fan in the worst way possible. Plus, Will Ferrell and Kristen Wiig are involved. Lifetime should do more stuff like this, and spend less time casting its projects in a mall food court. The Deadly Adoption airs Saturday, June 20 at 8 p.m. EST on Lifetime. Should be fun. [ AV Club]
